BRANDING, PROMOTION, TOURISM - TASK FORCE

Today at the Wolsztyn Locomotive Depot, a meeting was held for the newly established working group, whose goal and task is to work towards the joint building of a brand and visual identity for the tourist potential of the Wolsztyn region based on its greatest tourist attractions: the ESTIWAL "PURE COUNTRY" and the WOLSZTYN LOCOMOTIVE DEPOT.

The meeting was attended by: the Director of the Locomotive Depot, a Councilor of the Wolsztyn Municipality, the Head of the Promotion Office of the Wolsztyn County, the Head of the Municipal Office of Promotion and Tourism, a Representative of the T.I.K. "ALAMO" association, and the manager of the Promotional and Museum Department of the Wolsztyn Locomotive Depot.

The topics of the meeting included, among others:

  • the potential of the Wolsztyn Locomotive Depot and the "Clean Country" Festival as leading and award-winning tourism products of Wolsztyn, including the Parade of Locomotives and the consolidated tourism product "Country under Steam" which combines these two brands during the high tourist season.
  • the preliminary discussion of a significant joint participation of all entities in tourism fairs was held, identifying those that have the greatest potential and proven promotional effects from the perspective of promoting the Wolsztyn region.
  • the existing cooperation and its promotional effects between the Tourism Promotion Office, the Festival, and the Locomotive Depot were presented, and it was noted that this is a good starting point for expanding this cooperation to all entities.

 

The next stage will involve establishing cooperation with professionals from the branding and promotion industry, tourism fairs before the summer season, and joint promotion at the local level.

The next meeting of the working group is scheduled for January 2025.
